Mr. Zhao is the head of the China Institute of Industrial Economics of China Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and Deputy Director of China Economics Development Risk Research Center. Mr. Zhao has extensive knowledge of Chinese industry technology development and innovation. He participated in the Chinese government's mid to long-term technical development policy formulation.
